Privacy Policy

The short version: MetricFlow does not store your personal data or Facebook tokens on our servers. Everything stays in your browser session and is discarded when you log out.

1. What We Collect

When you connect your Facebook account, we access the following data via the Facebook Marketing API:

Your Facebook user ID and display name
Your Ad Account IDs and account names
Campaign, ad set, and ad performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC)
Campaign status and budget information

We do not collect passwords, payment information, or personal data beyond what is listed above.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to display advertising analytics and enable campaign management within MetricFlow. We do not sell, share, rent, or transfer your data to any third parties for any purpose. All data retrieved from Facebook is used solely to power the features you use in the dashboard.

3. Data Storage

Your Facebook access token is stored only in your browser session memory and is never transmitted to or persisted on our servers. When you log out or close your browser tab, the token is upon user request discarded. We do not maintain any database of user tokens, profiles, or campaign data.

4. Facebook Permissions

MetricFlow requests the following permissions from Facebook:

ads_read — to view campaign performance metrics
ads_management — to pause/resume campaigns, update budgets, and duplicate campaigns

We never request permissions beyond what is necessary to operate the described features.

5. Facebook Data Policy

Your use of Facebook data through MetricFlow is also governed by Facebook's Data Policy. You can revoke MetricFlow access at any time via Facebook Settings → Settings & Privacy → Apps and Websites.

6. Cookies

MetricFlow uses Facebook's JavaScript SDK which may set session cookies required for authentication. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies of our own.

7. Children's Privacy

MetricFlow is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of MetricFlow after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
